TOMASZ GORNICKI
Born on 11/1/1986. He graduated with honors from the Sculpture Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2010 in the studio of Janusz Antonii Pastwa. A young artist whose interests revolve around realism. Corporeality is his basic theme, a vehicle that takes him into the symbolic world, a path to archetypes. His urban activities provoke questions and never leave the audience indifferent. He uses the language of symbols, mainly of a religious, philosophical and psychological nature.
Górnicki works with both monumental and small forms. He experiments with the combination of different materials such as bronze, stone, aluminum and fabric. He explores the qualities of color and transfers 2D graphics into the 3D world. He believes that sculptures can order and even create spaces. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has been the author of individual exhibitions.
Both artists will be present in person on the evening of the vernissage.
